Rooms & Suites
All rooms at Bluebay are spacious, bright and beautifully decorated in Zanzibari style with hand-carved furniture. The comfortable Garden Rooms overlook the grounds, while the popular Superior Rooms are elevated, offering views over the gardens to the beach and ocean beyond.
The exclusive Junior Suites are only 30 metres from the ocean and are split level with a large seating area, magnificent verandah and even a private garden with outdoor shower.
Finally, there are two beachfront Sultan Suites: the ultimate in opulence, privacy and luxury – a Sultan would expect nothing less!
Leisure & Activities
Our simple mission at Bluebay and Sultan Sands are to make your stay with us perfect and our Guest Services staff will attend to your every need and endeavor to satisfy every request.
If you require a babysitter or a butler, dinner on the beach or on a show, or perhaps you have a particular dietary request, please talk to us. Guest Services will also help you plan and book excursions, group events and corporate functions.
Toto Club
We understand the need for parents to have a fun-filled holiday with their kids, as well as a bit of adult time! For children aged between 3 and 13 years, we offer a professionally run children’s club with weekly themed programmes and a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
As well as arts, crafts and sports, the children also enjoy cultural experiences and even an introduction to the Swahili language. Most of our multi-lingual staff have worked as kindergarten teachers and have undergone first aid training.
Nutritional kids’ meals are also offered at the Toto Club and we also provide ‘ayah’ or babysitter services at an additional charge.
Boutiques
The Resort operates two boutiques offering a wide range of East African crafts, books, postcards, souvenirs and gifts as well as clothing, jewellery and accessories.
Don’t worry if you forgot to pack something, the boutique also stocks beachwear, sun-creams, sunglasses and a host of general supplies to ensure everything you need is on hand.
